Alabeo Gee Bee Model Z (FSX/FSX:SE/P3D)

One of the strangest looking aircraft that has survived the test of time...

The Gee Bee Sportster is not only a classic, but bucks the trend and mode of thought that classic aircraft have to be slow and underpowered.

The Gee Bee is a racing plane, and you can see visually that it has an awesome power to weight ratio. The massive engine almost makes the rest of the aircraft body look miniscule.

But this aircraft is both fun and very challenging to fly.

In a word, it is unique. Alabeo have done a stunning job with this model, compatible with Flight Simulator X and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D. It looks fantastic and has all the visual eye candy typical of Alabeo developed aircraft, but also a very functional panel that offers a good simulation of the real aircraft type.

  • Superb material shines and reflections.
  • Challenging flight dynamics.
  • High quality 3D model and textures.
  • Aerobatic smoke effect.
  • Blank texture for creating your own designs.

Be prapred for some challenging flying, especially since you can't see much at all over the front of that massive engine. The Gee Bee is a weird looking plane, but it has all the Alabeo style and modeling you would expect. I wouldn't pay over $30 for this one, but around $20 is quite easy to swallow for this one to re-live a little bit of aviation history!
